This paint is dull and has not been maintained for years. Dust and pollutants from the air have left visible traces: The top layer of paint looks very worn and requires care.
The wax is thin and easy to work with. The cotton ball on the left was used for the abrasive paste, the right one for polishing. Good to see: Abrasive paste causes more paint to be removed.
The difference is clear: On the left side the water forms a pool, On the right, the wax repels the water and dirt after treatment with grinding paste and polish – water pearls form.
The use of the grinding paste
The surface can only withstand processing with grinding paste a few times. But if you remove the spray mist or adjust the paint edges, it’s not possible without it. To achieve an even shine after treatment with the aggressive grinding paste, rework the surface with paint cleaner.
■ The first part of the care program is a thorough car wash. A modern car wash gently and environmentally friendly cleans the vehicle paint. Conservation depends on the condition of the paint: The water forms pearls on the surface, the paint is fine. Large wet spots indicate inadequate conservation.
■ Bird room, Excrement from bees or aphids can clog the paint. Do the fabrics act for too long?, the top coat is etched through to the primer. Resin from trees or bushes has a similar effect. After cleaning, seal dull areas with hard wax.
■ On the front end, dead insects combined with heat and moisture can also have a corrosive effect. The only remedy here is a quick elimination.
